What cracks me up about the whole Olga Foroga business is Diego and Luther thought she was an assassin who was after them and had just killed their host… And their first instinct is to call her? Not track her down or something, just call her and give her a heads up? What where they planning on doing next? Did they even think about it?
i want 9 the old guard sequels. i want old guard: too old 2 guard, the old five, mamma mia: here we guard again. like way too many sequels to the point it just gets ridiculous.

Here’s my pitch:
The year is 2050 and the team are seen traveling to reunite after a year off. They end up together at the dock of a rustic but charming Greek island where its revealed a now older Andy runs a hotel, alongside her stunning new lover (played by Meryl Streep). Nicky is wearing so much sunscreen he looks like a ghost and Nile inexplicably always has some kind of fruity cocktail in her hand. It turns out the hotel is actually a front for Meryl Streep’s Evil Science Lab™, and that inviting the team there to meet was a guise to finally have a chance to experiment on them.
Instead of electropop all the action scenes are soundtracked with ABBA. Joe snaps a man’s neck to the tune of Honey Honey. Waterloo is always playing faintly whenever Booker is on screen. The Winner Takes It All plays as Andy and Meryl Streep fight to the death, the rest of the team looking on unable to help because idk they’re brawling on a cute yacht that’s slowly floating out to sea.
At the end the team mistakenly think Andy has died, and thus break any of the emersion that’s left by singing a beautiful acapella cover of Thank You For The Music, only for her to wash up on the beach ten minutes later very alive and very annoyed.
Fade to black. Voulez-Vous plays as the credits roll. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk
i know we all like to headcanon nile as being the one to excitedly ask if any of the gang knew any historical figures, but i think this can extend to all of them (sans andy cause she was the first one)
like, i can imagine a few days after andy and quynh meet nicky and joe, the girls just see them murmuring to each other and looking at them from time to time after they explain what’s going on
until one day the boys gather up the courage and nicky just blurts out
love how merry and pippin just join sam and frodo. they just literally run into him after stealing vegetables, see some nazgul, and go “oh, sick. we’re in!” without, like, any preparation whatsoever. no going home and packing, no letting their family know they’re gonna be gone for an indeterminate amount of time. just them, their carrots, and a grand total of one brain cell. legends.
